This learning object can be used by students (12 - 20 years old) as well as by anyone who is interested to find out more on the decision-making process in the European Union.
The module is in four parts. Part one provides background information about the European institutions and their roles in the decision-making process. Part two is a quiz whose questions cover the basic elements of the EU decision-making process.
The questions are based on the background information which is provided in the part one. Part three consists of three gap-fill exercises that focused on the European institutions that are involved in the decision-making process: the European Commission, the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union.
Part four is a matching exercise whose aim is to strengthen and consolidate knowledge that is expected to be acquired through the previous three parts of this learning object.
