Back to School 2009
By tradition, Spring Day for Europe includes, among other events, the Back to School activities, in which public figures such as local, national and European politicians and experts pay a visit to their former schools or to any other school. The purpose of these activities is to strengthen contacts between young Europeans and decision-makers in an attempt to bring Europe closer to its citizens.
List of the guests who visit schools in 2009 (EN)
For Spring Day 2009, we are currently working on developing a tool that aims to enable potential guests and schools to get in touch, plan and organise a school visit. At present, we encourage any potential guests to get in touch with us to put them in contact with schools by providing us the bellow information (either by email or phone):
- Guest name
- Guest title (position and organisation)
- Visiting school (name of school, city, region, country), if the school is already identified
- Date(s) of the visit(s)
Contact: Petru Dumitru, phone: +32 (0)2 790 75 56.
In case schools that are registered with Spring Day would like to invite a guest to visit them, a template letter is available on our website to help draft their invitation.
