On 25 April 2007, Ján Figel', Member of the European Commission responsible for Education, Training, Culture and Youth, together with a team of experts, came to the European Schoolnet office to answer pupils’ questions on European citizenship.
The chat involved 16 schools representing 13 countries: Austria, Bulgaria, France, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Ireland, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia. They discussed about "European citizenship: The path to living together in Europe starts at school".
