These didactical games were designed and developed by a group of experienced teachers to help their fellow colleagues to introduce attractive learning and teaching modules into the Spring Day activities.



The didactical games address primary and secondary students. The games cover several thematic areas such as European integration, European citizenship, single currency, consumer protection, internal market, Europe in the world, EU Enlargement, European common cultural values, European cultural heritage, EU institutions, EU and its citizens, EU treaties and many others.

  • Bet on the European Union!

  • A Game of X’s and O’s about the European Union

- The purpose of this game is to encourage students to answer nine questions about the European Union to get 3 X’s or 3 O’s across, down or diagonally. The questions cover the key stages of the history of the EU. It is also meant to motivate students aged 11-19 to work in groups and improve their communication skills.

  • It’s Your Decision

- This game can be adapted to both primary and secondary levels. Classes are encouraged to discuss the different areas about decision making and make some of their own decisions too. The illustrations that are incorporated into the game aim to help students to better visualise the decision making process at European level.
