The European Year of Creativity and Innovation evokes the idea of sharing decisive and major events showing the role of creativity in the future of Europe as well as the importance of young people in bringing about innovation. The activity allows pupils to add their own cultural event related to the topic. Under the guidance of their teachers, pupils are invited to investigate decisive dates in the EU, especially those that represent their own country in the EU. Then, they are asked to choose a date between the 1950s to today, and make their own contribution by writing a description of that event. This calendar will showcase Europe's unity in diversity presented by pupils for pupils.
